We’re half way into this week and I thought it’d be amazing to brighten your day with this romantic lakeside engagement session!

Ricci Ann and Josh had found me during the first week of the shut down and because we weren’t able to meet in person at my studio, we had one of the most fun FaceTime meetings. Shortly after our online meeting, they booked me and our adventure begun!

With all the craziness going on, I had to reschedule so many weddings and sessions. Right after the opening of our state, we still weren’t lucky – it literally rained the three times we tried to schedule their engagement session. And then last week, we FINALLY got together and guys… They ROCKED their session!

Because they LOVE outdoors, we decided to do their session at the Grapevine Lake surrounded with beautiful greenery and the lake shore. This is one of my favorite spots as it always has amazing lighting and the nature preserve is BIG. The only downside is it’s a pretty popular destination for families but if you know your way around – you can totally find some hidden spots away from the crowds. 😉

Ricci Ann and Josh have two furkids, George and Oliver. Of course they had to join the engagement session.

As I’m known for making all the weird sounds possible to make furkids turn their head, look at me and wonder “what is wrong with this hooman?” George and Oliver did so good – I didn’t have to et “that weird” haha! 🙂

I have to say, it was wayyyy to hot to be outside for photos – but Ricci Ann and Josh hid it so well, you can’t tell at all!

Even though we couldn’t hug, even though we couldn’t hang out – I can’t wait to celebrate these two in December and then sometime in the future get together for some drinks and good convo!
Happy engagement Ricci Ann and Josh!! <3
