A week before Amanda and Jared’s wedding, a massive snow storm hit Texas and many of the plants and trees in the garden of the Venue at Frisco Town Center were destroyed. With the help of a plant rental company, the oasis that was part of the bride’s vision was brought back to life.

Then it rained on the wedding day and thankfully stopped just hours before the wedding. Although I’m pretty good with “rolling with the punches” I’m glad everything turned out beautiful for their ceremony and reception. It wasn’t the first time something went wrong on a wedding day, but Amanda and Jared handled it all with grace and a dash of humor.
It couldn’t have been more perfect, from the upbeat moments getting ready to the sentimental ceremony and epic reception complete with campfire Smores cocktails.

Amanda’s detail shots of the wedding stationery, jewelry, and shoes were so modern and elegant. The deep blues and greens looked gorgeous together, and her flat bridal Rothys were so pretty. Bejeweled and comfortable is the best combo!

The double-tiered wedding cake was surrounded by modern mini cakes, which made the most decadent dessert table ever—the reception tables decorated with white florals and lots of rustic greenery mixed with candles. Lots of wooden signage added just a touch of rustic vibes. A lovely touch was the wedding favors that were tiny succulent pots with “Let Love Grow” and the wedding date on each one.

Jared wore a smart gray suit with his brand new watch. Amanda thoughtfully sent a gift box (including the watch) to her dashing groom, and he said it was one of the biggest surprises of the day. That along with the Mario-themed groom cake that he received at the reception.

The bride chose dramatic make-up with her hair styled in an elegant updo. She wore a gorgeous lace wedding gown with a sweetheart neckline and a long veil. She was ready to meet Jared in the garden for the first look, and it was an emotional and romantic meeting. Then we had time for intimate couple photos before the ceremony started.

What a beautiful ceremony with the cutest flower girl, and your Dallas wedding photographer was swooning over the colors of the bridesmaid’s dresses. The bride’s entrance to Canon in D Pachelbel was stunning, with a long walk over a bridge and down the aisle. As Amanda and Jared exchanged rings and vows, they both were tearing up, and later, they both described the ceremony as their most anticipated and favorite part of the day.

After group photos, it was time for the reception to kick-off, and there was lots of prettiness to capture.

There was lots of love, laughter, and joy mixed in with dancing – lots of dancing and a super fun photo booth. Everyone had a brilliant time and partied the night away.

After the wedding day, I asked our couple if they had any tips for future couples getting married. Amanda says having an on-the-day wedding coordinator was a wise investment.
“I was able to relax on my wedding day, knowing she was making it all come together. I also didn’t want to put that pressure on any of my friends or family, though many still helped in getting the place set up.”

She also said they both felt highly blessed for how the day unfolded.
“We had a magical day amongst our friends and family and loved how everything truly came together into a beautiful and fun wedding.”
