Over 500 celebrations

So, I heard you're going to propose to your partner, and you're looking for a photographer that's going to make sure the moment is beautifully captured without a hitch? I got you!
Now, I can't promise you I'm going to find a tree nearby to hide my tall and broad being behind, but I can promise you to come up with some scenario that's going to make it look like I have nothing to do with y'all and I'm just minding my own business. Want to propose at the Catbird at the Thompson? Done - I'm totally okay pretending I'm doing some food/drink photography - or hiding my cameras somewhere pretending I'm just enjoying my time while waiting for my friend and ninja my way around to capture it "when it's go time". Or maybe you had the Dallas Arboretum in your mind? Done. I don't do nature photography, but for 10 minutes, I can pretend to be one and do closeups of whatever nearby floral display I can find.
I always do a walk-through meeting at the location closer to the desired time of the proposal to make sure everybody involved knows where to stand, what to do, and have some sort of secret hand signal or something to indicate "Here we go!" and all the other details! :)
Let's set up a phone call as soon as possible so we can chat, get to know each other, and see if I'm the best fit for you and your partner, or should I say "soon-to-be fiancé" hehe *wink wink*. To get started, you can scroll down to the bottom of the page, fill out my contact form, and I'll get back to you as soon as I can. In the meanwhile, here's some helpful information to get you started. I can't wait to chat more with you!
In the meanwhile, feel free to look around and view my past work with these fantastic humans! :)
IT'S ALL IN THE THOUGHTFUL DETAILS.
I used to tell people how badly I suck at pretending and that my face gives away everything. I'm not sure if I'm supposed to brag about this - but doing so many surprise proposals and having to play "I dunno anything, I'm just here taking photos of the sky." I think I got better with this over the years, haha!
I love getting to know my couples before anything else. And yes, even for a "one-hour surprise proposal session." We need that connection for those fun, authentic, and sweet photos you see in my portfolio. After you inquire, our first step will be to set up a phone consultation and chat more about you, your partner, your relationship, and your plans on how you want to propose. This call is where you'll get to know me. That way, you know I'm the best fit for you. I can't stress this enough - but we must click well for everything to be seamless. Perhaps this is why I never end up with clientzillas, if you know what I mean, haha! I want to make sure you know EVERYTHING about me and my services, what's included and what's not - BEFORE you book with me.
I want this to be special for you and your partner. I want you two to celebrate within the moment, as well as years after, when you look back at your photos. After the "moment" happens, and you two come back to reality (haha - that's what happens, though!), I'll take you around whatever is within walking distance to get some portraits of you two with whatever time is left from your booking. Those will most likely be what you'll hang on your walls to display at home. Look at them daily and get all the warm feelings in your heart.
After you know I'll be a great fit to make this surprise happen with you, you'll complete your booking, and we'll start planning after that! I always do a walk-through at the designated location before the surprise day. This can be in person or over FaceTime/Zoom as some of my clients cannot be all sneaky, so take off work and meet me to plan everything out. That's ok - I got you. There have been times when I just did videos and sent them to my clients, showing them exactly where to stand, what angle to be for best lighting, and such... Oh yeah - it's a whole production! :P
Oh yes, I will pull some strings if I have to! Sara (above) wanted to propose to her partner Lindsay in the sweetest, most intimate way possible, so she planned a picnic painting date at the park. It would have been VERY obvious if I just showed up next to them, lurking around like a weirdo with two cameras strapped to my body - so another couple of mine, Slava and Jasmine, who booked me for their wedding in May 2024, came to help me! They did amazing with just being their goofy selves as well as staying in character the entire time - even though they knew what really was happening. *giggles*
