Cecy and Alex go way back to middle school! They have been together pretty much forever. They are super laid back and not your ordinary couple. One day, Cecy asked Alex to marry her very casually on their way to the grocery store. Alex thought she was joking but said yes anyway. Later when they got back home, Cecy found Alex kneeled one knee asking her to marry him with a ring he had bought months ago! *does anyone have a tissue?*
Their marriage was anticipated but the wait is FINALLY over and they’re officially husband and wife! We celebrated them with an amazing pack of humans who did not stop dancing all night long.
Their wedding vision was a rustic country charm and The Spring Venues in Denton (The Ranch) was the perfect fit for it.
They wanted to include their heritage to their wedding as much as possible and while Alex read his vows in English, Cecy read hers in Spanish.
The traditional “Vibora De La Mar” was so much fun! It was my first time witnessing it and poor Nick had to hold on to his life holding my flash stand so the boys wouldn’t knock it out of the way bwahah! :v
And of course “el muertito” – always fun to watch (terrifying at the same time “Oh don’t drop him now!”)
Cecy and Alex are probably one of the most caring humans you can meet in life. No seriously – I can’t give enough credit to Cecy for checking on me when my health declined this past fall. She is partially the reason why I gained my health back so fast. Cecy, you are an amazing woman and a fabulous friend – you’re now stuck with me! (LOL!)
We love you to pieces!
