When Dana contacted me for her intimate Downtown Dallas wedding, searching for a Dallas wedding photographer, we had a little less than a month. Within that time frame, we had to speed up our “get to know you process” as well as sort everything out – this includes their mini engagement session, wedding day photography timeline – we got it done all in one day meeting in person. I loved Dana and Andy’s simplicity and how easy going they were.

We started their day at The Joule with Dana and her squad. As always, I love doing details first thing when I arrive.

Of course Granger stole my heart. When there’s a furkid in the room I get distracted – A LOT. And I may have more than one photo of this cute pupper (oops! I did it again – as always!)

Doing a first look with your bride-squad is probably one of the sweetest moments from the day. It’s amazing to be surrounded by people who’ll not only be there throughout life, but also CHEER you when you look like a queen!

When I say Dana is chill, this is proof! Just walking down the street towards the valet, alone – waiting for her ride to arrive, hehe!

And we were probably the only wedding party looking for the ceremony location on the map, and being late to the ceremony for around 10 minutes. Don’t look at me! The Dallas Arboretum is like a maze and I follow my couples! 😛

By the time we got there, Andy was ready to go and we rolled into the ceremony.

They had their micro-wedding before it was a thing! 😉

Dana and Andy met at Corgan, while working together. Having their reception so close to work in downtown – we had to stop by for a few photos. I fell in love with the view their patio looks over!

The wind was wild – but there’s no such thing as “too much wind” for photos 😉

Dana and Andy, it was our pleasure to be part of your wedding! I’m so happy our paths crossed (We must give credit to Cate and her magnificent Googling skills!) and I look forward to seeing y’all again <3
Happy wedding day lovebirds!
