While searching for a Dallas wedding and engagement photographer, Scott found and booked me for his surprise proposal to Jane Marie a few months ago.
Jane Marie and Scott met at one of their mutual friends’ birthday party and while Scott already had a crush on JM, it didn’t take long for her to catch up. They have been inseparable ever since!
When Scott booked me for the proposal, due to the nature of proposals – the excitement, nerves, surprise, and the emotional flow afterward – I didn’t really get to know them. But during this session, I absolutely LOVED how their personalities shine through!
You could totally feel their positive energy and joy flow through their photographs!
Oh! Meet Rebel, their super cute Australian Shepard!
Being the waterbird they are (they both love being in the water!), they picked the White Rock Lake for their engagement photos. It was the end of August. Mother nature did a favor to us and turned the temperature down with some added breeze. It didn’t feel like August at all!
Even though JM and Scott claimed this was their first photoshoot ever (which I still have a hard time believing, but oooohkay!!), they were total naturals. “Walk like you’re drunk!” No problem:
Rebel kinda stole my heart, though. Y’all already know, I have a soft spot for furkids, and I just can’t help but show them some extra love during sessions!
I mean, look at her! She’s the cutest doggo! Very photogenic too! 😉
Jane Marie and Scott, thank you A BUNCH (!) for choosing me to photograph your milestones. Although I’m not able to be part of the wedding I know you’ll have the best time and celebration! I can’t wait to see what more life has for you in stores!
