As today has been a stay at home day for me due to the amount of tornado/severe weather warnings, I wanted to share with you this beautiful couple’s session we did with Nick a few days ago at the Arlington Hall.
Kennard and I met back in 2015 when I moved to Dallas. He was my first neighbor to introduce himself and welcome me to the neighborhood and ever since we’ve been good friends. Whenever we see each other across the parking lot, we’d yell “HEY NEIGHBOR!!” and chat about our days.
That day, when I again yelled “HEY NEIGHBOR!” Kennard had a brighter smile on his face – his eyes shined differently. I immediately knew something was up! As we started walking towards our apartments he started telling me about this wonderful woman he recently met. As any woman would do I asked for photos (lol!) and my initial thoughts were that she was not only gorgeous but she had this positive energy I couldn’t explain at the time.
A few weeks later I came across Kennard while I was walking to my apartment from an engagement session – as we greeted each other, he told me there was someone he wanted me to meet. When Chaun walked out, I immediately fell in love with how elegant and friendly she was – it didn’t feel like we just met – she felt familiar. During our session, I got to know her even better. Chaun is not only very friendly, but she’s also very genuine and kind.
I showed Ken and Chaun a few of their photos from the first 10 minutes of our session and they shed happy tears!
I also asked them to bump their belly and show each other how much they love them – the results are adorable!
These are absolutely gorgeous! Thank you for capturing this moment. You are the best!
Photographing you and your sweetheart was my absolute pleasure Chaun! I can’t wait to see what more life will bring to you two <3 Hugs! :*
