As a Dallas wedding photographer, I am so flippin’ excited to share this wedding y’all!

Like almost all my other 2020 couples, Chelsea and Sean also had to adjust their plans for their July wedding – rescheduling it to November. The wait was WORTH IT!

With the ceremony time remaining the same, but the sunset time changing, Chelsea and Sean decided to do a first look.

A first look is when the bride and groom sees each other before the ceremony. It’s great for those who have a tight timeline after the ceremony and it really helps calming those happy nerves too *wink wink*

With their ceremony starting at 5 PM and the sunset at 5:20 PM, it was the best option – as I love giving a variety of both natural light and flash portraits for my couples.

The Castle at Rockwall‘s courtyard is amazingly beautiful so we started their portraits outside of their getting ready rooms.

While we made our way to the front yard, their exit car by DFW Vintage Cars had arrived to do some photos before it got dark.

The sweetest moment of their day was their ceremony, which was officiated by Chelsea’s grandpa over Zoom.

The pandemic has changed wedding plans a lot – and so many people are not able to attend celebrations but I love seeing how creative my couples get!

I don’t know who’s responsible of this, but having cut out photos of all the guests who couldn’t attend the wedding – BRILLIANT!! Whoever thought about that – BRAVO! YOU WIN!! 🙂

Chelsea and Sean, I’m so happy to be part of your celebration and that I am able to give you memories to cherish for generations. Your day was absolutely beautiful and I can’t wait to see what more life has for you two in stores!

CHELSEA AND SEAN ARE MARRIED Y’ALL!!
