Last night I did an engagement session for the books in Downtown Dallas!

Just in 5 days, we will be celebrating sweet Diana and Dilshan’s union. The wedding will take place at the D’Vine Grace Vineyard with some of my favorite vendors!

I was introduced to Diana and Dilshan by my very good friendor, wedding planner Tiffany Scott. When she first called me to ask if I was available for their date. She couldn’t stop but say over and over how sweet they were and how much I was going to love them.

The second we greeted each other with hugs, I knew exactly what Tiffany was talking about!

When you meet certain people for the first time, their energy will just warm your heart. We had spoken with Diana on the phone right after I told them I was available, and I knew they were going to be amazing to work with. We were giggling and joking throughout the entire conversation already. But meeting them both in person was a whole other level! I really couldn’t stop telling them “EEEEPPP!! Y’ALL ARE SO CUTE!” during the entire session hehe!

Just like ALL my other clients, Diana and Dilshan were very cautious about “not being photogenic”. Almost all my couples tell me how awkward they feel about being photographed (most of them never had a professional session) and that how it was making them nervous. I love prompting my clients so photos feel more organic rather than overly posed. When I showed them their very first images, (I think I can totally say this hehehe) their jaw dropped!

But I mean… They look gorgeous together and their energy radiates through those photos!

Diana and Dilshan, we are so happy to be part of your wedding and to celebrate you in just a few short days. If this is the engagement session, I really can’t wait to see the wedding! Let the party begin!! <3

Can’t wait for their big day – and to see all of the AMAZING photos from their Best Day Ever! They’re in great hands with you as their photographer!
You guys are on fire!!
Wishing both of you God’s richest blessings in your voice of each other to build your home. ‘Love is not only looking into each other’s eyes but looking in the same direction too.’
