We Texans never have real snow here – until one of our brilliant couples find a snow machine! Ashley and Whit had one big celebration with their family and friends at The Lodge of Denton, ending it with a blast of white magic. We began the day with getting ready and details. I like taking my time when it comes to the pre-ceremony preparations. Everybody is always at the top at their excitement and there’s so much to document as our couples likely don’t remember much from all the adrenalin rush haha!
One of my favorite things to have my couples do is a first look with their bridal party – as this allows for the parents have an intimate wedding moment helping their daughter/son get ready – and adds some great smiles to the rest of the pre-ceremony photos.

Ashley and Whit opted in to do a first-look. Watching them seeing each other for the first time in their wedding attire and hug it out for a long time was one of the sweetest thing ever!
