Jeanette and Brian met 6 years ago while working at Cinemark in Grapevine. Not long after they moved their life to Oregon and have been living there ever since. They’re both animal lovers (as expected from all my couples lol) and have 2 kitties, Dwight and Pippin, and a wolfdog (whom I’m in love with!) Fenris.
As they are HUGE LOTR fans, of course, they planned a LOTR-inspired wedding and I knew doing their sunset session at the rocky lakeside of Grapevine would be perfect! But we’ll come back to that! 🙂

The wedding details included gems, stones, geoid centerpieces and my favorite, Jeanette’s headpiece.

Jeanette and Brian did not want to do a first look but instead wanted to exchange letters. Both their reactions were the sweetest thing ever and we’re thankful Ros was still in the room to refresh Jeanette’s make up after the emotional moments <3

Instead, Jeanette wanted to do a first look with her dad.

Now, I will have to give extra credit to Brian as his reaction is probably the “Best Groom Reaction of 2019” across the continent. He kind of made everyone else (including me) cry a little bit <3

Jeanette and Brian both wrote their own vows for each other and witnessing the pure emotions they exchanged was probably one of the sweetest moments of the day.

Each wedding day is unique – and I always say “there are no set rules”. With Jeanette and Brian’s brunch wedding, I recommended doing their newlywed portraits after the send-off, and let me tell you this… It allowed them to get AMAZING sunset photos at an AMAZING location – after we took some photos around the chapel. So pretty much they got the best of both venues! 🙂

This was probably the part when Jeanette and Brian thought I finally lost it!
While we were chasing the light and taking already beautiful photos – I yelled “NICK!! GO GET IN YOUR CAR AND DRIVE LIKE YOUR LIFE DEPENDS ON IT!! LIKE NOW!!!”
Y’all don’t see it – but the dust in the back was actually created by my assistant – driving/drifting like crazy in the background to create LOTS OF dust. I guess it paid off 😉

I guess my assistant really is up for the task – I made them drive back and forth to create that dust cloud – more than once 😛

Thank you so much, Jeanette and Brian, for having us as part of your day. I not only had so much fun but enjoyed spending time with you! I can’t wait to see you again! <3
