So, I heard you're going to propose to your partner, and you're looking for a photographer that's going to make sure the moment is beautifully captured without a hitch? I got you!
Now, I can't promise you I'm going to find a tree nearby to hide my tall and broad being behind, but I can promise you to come up with some scenario that's going to make it look like I have nothing to do with y'all and I'm just minding my own business. Want to propose at the Catbird at the Thompson? Done - I'm totally okay pretending I'm doing some food/drink photography - or hiding my cameras somewhere pretending I'm just enjoying my time while waiting for my friend and ninja my way around to capture it "when it's go time". Or maybe you had the Dallas Arboretum in your mind? Done. I don't do nature photography, but for 10 minutes, I can pretend to be one and do closeups of whatever nearby floral display I can find.
I always do a walk-through meeting at the location closer to the desired time of the proposal to make sure everybody involved knows where to stand, what to do, and have some sort of secret hand signal or something to indicate "Here we go!" and all the other details! :)
Let's set up a phone call as soon as possible so we can chat, get to know each other, and see if I'm the best fit for you and your partner, or should I say "soon-to-be fiancé" hehe *wink wink*. To get started, you can scroll down to the bottom of the page, fill out my contact form, and I'll get back to you as soon as I can. In the meanwhile, here's some helpful information to get you started. I can't wait to chat more with you!
In the meanwhile, feel free to look around and view my past work with these fantastic humans! :)
I use to tell people how bad I suck at pretending and that my face gives away everything. Not sure if I'm supposed to brag about this - but doing so many surprise proposals and having to play "I dunno anything, I'm just here taking photos of the sky" I think I got better with this over the years haha!
I love getting to know my couples before anything else. And yes, even for a "one-hour surprise proposal session." We need that connection for those fun, authentic, and sweet photos you see in my portfolio. After you inquire, our first step will be to set up a phone consultation and chat more about you, your partner, your relationship, and your plans on how to propose. This call is where I give out everything about myself too. That way, you know I'm the best fit for you. I can't stress this enough - but we must click well for everything to be seamless. Perhaps this is why I never end up clientzillas if you know what I mean haha! I want to make sure you know EVERYTHING about me and my services, what's included and what's not - BEFORE you book with me.
I want this to be special for you and your partner. I want you two to celebrate within the moment, as well as years after when you look back at your photos. After the "moment" happens, and you two come back to reality (haha - that's what happens though!) I'll take you around whatever is within walking distance to get some portraits of you two with whatever time is left from your booking. Those will most likely be what you'll hang on your walls to display at your home, look at them every day and get all the warm feels in your heart.
After you know I'll be a great fit to make this surprise happen with you, you'll complete your booking and we'll start planning after that! I always do a walk-through at the designated location before the actual surprise day. This can be either in-person or over FaceTime/Zoom as some of my clients are not able to be all sneaky, take off work and go meet me to plan everything out. That's ok - I got you. There have been times where I just did videos and sent them to my clients showing them exactly where to stand, what angle to be for best lighting, and such... Oh yeah - it's a whole production! :P
If you are nervous, you have a gazillion ideas and don't know where to start - I also love helping my clients along the way to come up with the best sneaky plans. :) I mean it.
What is included with your booking?
How can I book?
First things first, scroll down to the bottom of this page and fill out my contact form. I will get back to you as soon as possible and we will set up your phone consultation to talk about every single detail; including pricing, options, ideas, and any additional questions you may have. I always send my full pricing with my first email to inquiries so you know what to expect. I will not try to convince you to raise your budget or book something extra I think you don't need. Once you decide I'm the perfect fit for you and your partner, you'll sign your contract and pay the session fee - you are all set! Yep - it's that easy!
Let's connect!
The easiest and (most reliable) way to contact me is through my contact form. As I'm always on the go, I'm not always able to answer my phone. Besides, I get a poop ton of spam calls.
I wouldn't want you to get all mixed up in those! :)
