We have a fantastic story about how we met with Ashley and Tony!
Not long ago, I did an open house at the Monroe Pearson. I love open houses as I get to meet couples in person and mingle with them and give them the opportunity to get to know me in person. Towards the end of the event, Nick tapped my shoulder “There come your people!!” as a teal haired tattooed beauty and her handsome man approached our table.

I’m not going to lie, being the heavily tattoed artsy-fartsy persona I am, I have a special place in my heart for other artsy-fartsy tattooed humans. (LOL!) We started chatting with Ash and Tony about their wedding and their planning process. As we mostly had 2-3 minutes with each couple – I told them “Well here’s my card and now you know how to get a hold of me if you’d like to hang out more!” followed by a big big hug!

If you ever participated in an open house, you know there’s always a random drawing. Little did I know – Ash and Tony used ALL their coupons to win my prize! CUTIESSS!! But I didn’t know that until they came to see me at my studio. Hold on, I’m going to get there!

The next day, I got an email from The Monroe Pearson regarding my raffle winner. I only had a name, number and email address – but given the fact we met more than 20 couples that evening, I had no idea who they were. So we arranged an in-studio meeting.

Fast forward to the meeting day… Ash called to tell me “We’re here!” and I gave them directions to how to enter the building along with walking towards the staircase. We met right at the end of the staircase and… NO WAY!!! It was that teal haired beauty and her hunk! I may have let out a squeak “NO FLIPPING WAY!! IT’S YOU TWO!!!!!” and started jumping up and down lol! And then I found out how hard they worked to win the raffle prize and put all of their coupons to my box! Now that’s a “my kind of act”!

I don’t think I need to stress how gorgeous they are together and how much of a “Hollywood” vibe they have in their photos! I didn’t even have to try hard with posing them!

After spending some time taking photos around the Morrison’s Corn Kits building, we decided to move on to The Oak St. Drafthouse.

“Whisper your favorite desert in her ears with your most seductive voice” Well that worked out great! LOL!

We don’t want to know what it was hahahaha!

As it was a cloudy evening, for the most part, I saw that “little bit of golden hour light” and quickly rushed Ash and Tony out to the patio.

And the rest was artsy fartsy portraits with some flash.

This might have been the first time I saw Denton Square like this. The sky was everything a gothic story needed!

Our final destination, Paschall Bar. With the “authentic library” look, each corner had so much to offer – but we also had a huge crowd to avoid!

I’m so happy our paths crossed and y’all were patient enough to wait to meet me! I really can’t wait to spend more time with you two and to celebrate your wedding next year!
ASH AND TONY ARE ENGAGED Y’ALL!!!
