Since 2007

Dallas Fine Art & Horror Photographer

It was August 2007 when I was told by a fine art photographer that I didn't have a single bone in my body to become a photographer. In reality, I didn't even want to become one - I just loved the environment and tried to assist him - FOR FREE.

Being told "you will never" by some random dude started a fire in me that's been going on for 16 years! While most photographers start their career outside in natural light, I was very backward, and I learned studio photography first - mastering light and other techniques. A little over a year later, after my friend asked me if I could photograph her brother's wedding, the wedding inquiries started rolling in. Until today, I still don't understand why she looked at my portfolio above and thought, "Hmmm... Yes. This chick definitely should photograph my brother's wedding."

Although most of my business is weddings and cute portraits, fine art and horror are my passions. It is what sets me apart from the rest. It still makes my heart happy, even after all those years.

Best part? You don't have to be a professional model to have your own badass fine art and/or horror portraits. I'm great with guiding, posing, and coaching throughout the sessions. It pays off to do this for over a decade and not be shy in front of my clients!

If you want to do a fine art/horror session with me, here's how it will go:

We will first meet at my studio so you can get to know me, and I can get to know you. I need to feel your personality to take it up a notch from there. If we click and decide we can make something amazing from this connection, we will proceed with the booking.

These are not "book today, do it tomorrow" sessions. I need time to prep with decor, props, backdrops, storyline (if applicable, included in the session fee), etc. We need to go through your wardrobe and select outfits, and you may need to purchase a thing or two - depending on what you're going for.

The fine art/horror sessions can take anywhere from 2 hours to 4 hours or even more. This is why I have a flat rate - so you don't have to worry about finances if we go for the long haul. This will also allow me to take my sweet time and not rush.

While I deliver all culled and artistically edited images, you will walk away with five fully retouched images of your choice - which will be retouched after you pick them before you download them. You can purchase more digital images from your gallery and add retouching services per image. However, my photos RARELY need any retouching as I try to get everything on set during the session... Unless you want me to put a dragon or something into your photo!

What's included with your booking?

• All culled and artistically edited images delivered via an online gallery for viewing

• full-resolution digital images of your choice and touch-up services available for an additional fee

• assistance with all things Fine Art and horror portraits, from outfit coordination to backdrop color selection

• Sessions take place mostly in my studio - and an additional travel fee may apply if we need to go elsewhere

• Lots of shits and giggles jokes that can cause uncontrollable chuckling (optional)

All booked hours are continuous and include travel between locations and outfit changes.

All photos delivered to clients are edited to my artistic style and are cohesive with the rest of my work on my website.

The session turnaround is 2-4 weeks. Rush editing is available for $350 per session, and your gallery will be delivered within three days after your session.

Additional retouching for skin correction, vanishing objects/people, etc., is available for $75/per photo.

Please don't hesitate to contact me for a custom quote for your team photos.

What should I wear?

I want you to look your best, feel your best, and have a fantastic time. I want you to feel confident in your outfits and fall back in love with your photos every time you look at them. Run your wardrobe options by me, and we will create the look you want, or go shopping together. You don't have to stress about it!

How can I book?

I limit my fine art and horror sessions to once monthly and recommend booking at least a few months beforehand. This scheduling allows me to give each client the time and attention they deserve before (wardrobe & concept counseling) and after (editing and delivery).

I require a signed contract and %50 retainer for the booking. The final payment is due 30 days before the session date.

Please fill out the contact form below, and I will get back to you as soon as possible to set up a call. The rest is easy peasy! :)
