Dallas Boudoir Photographer

bou·doir
/ˈbooˌdwär/

The word boudoir comes from French and means a woman's bedroom or private room. At Taradise, we like to spice things up and ditch the old "boudoir session" label. We're all about spreading the love with our "sensual session," where everyone is welcome to join the fun! There is no need for any "girls-only" club vibes here. (But Google needs specific keywords for SEO purposes - so I had to go with the term "boudoir.")

I love working with people. I love making people feel amazing about themselves. My mission is to make you fall in love with yourself and go, "Whoa! Can't believe I did that! Damn! I look amazing!!!" because you are amazing just the way you are!

Whether you're he, she, or they - looking to create a gift for your partner or just simply celebrate your badass, beautiful self - I got you covered!

I give everyday people a reason to fall in love with themselves and see how amazing the rest of the world sees them. I will guide you throughout the session, show you how to pose, connect you with other vendors that will add to your experience, and make this as easy as possible.

I'd love to chat with you and get to know each other so you can decide if I'm a good fit for you. You're welcome to visit me at my studio - meet me and my furkids and see the space. That way you know exactly what you're getting!

HOW LONG IN ADVANCE DO I NEED TO COMPLETE MY BOOKING?

If you need your photos and album back by a specific date, I recommend doing your session at least three months before the deadline. The turnaround time for your gallery is 2-4 weeks after your session, and once you approve your album design, it'll take around a week for it to arrive. If you are not on a time track, we can do your session on any available day on my calendar! :) I require a signed contract and payment to secure your time slot on my calendar.

WILL YOU SHARE MY IMAGES?

My top priority is to ensure my clients are comfortable, especially with their sessions. It can be a life-changing experience - intimate and important but equally nerve-wracking! You have complete control over if, how, and where the photos are being shared. Even when you permit me, I will still return and double-check with you.

DO YOU SANITIZE YOUR SETS BETWEEN SESSIONS?

Yes! I'm a bit of a clean freak, and I change sheets (including fitted sheets, top sheets, pillowcases) for each client - and wipe down anything used during the session. For this reason, I don't offer same-day "boudoir marathons" as it takes time to clean everything between clients properly, and I ain't going to skimp on it just to get more clients in for the marathon.

DO YOU HAVE A CLIENT CLOSET?

I have props and accessories that are easy to sanitize and clean between sessions and that you are welcome to use, but I do not provide lingerie to be shared. I would never wear someone else's shoes, underwear, bodysuit, etc - so I don't offer that to my clients either.

SHOULD I BOOK A PROFESSIONAL HAIR AND MAKEUP TEAM?

I highly recommend getting your hair and makeup professionally done. I want you to feel pampered when you step foot in my studio, and I have partnered with one of DFW's most amazing HMUA artists. They will help you complete your look; you can bring inspirational photos! I work with a fantastic team, and they can match whatever you aim for.

HOW MUCH NUDITY IS TOO MUCH NUDITY?

As I've been photographing humans for a living for more than 16 years - both clothed and nude - at this point, nudity doesn't register in my brain as uncomfortable. You can be as naked or clothed as you are comfortable with - regardless of your gender. I'm comfortable working with women and men, MTF/FTM, NB, and CD. Pretty much anyone we share this earth with. After all, it only gets weird if you make it weird! :)

ARE YOU SEX/KINK POSITIVE?

Yes! I'm comfortable with anything from just using props in your photos (floggers, rope, whips, bondage, etc.) to photographing scenes that can include your partner(s). I'm comfortable working with you as long as it doesn't involve bodily fluids, blood drawing, or cutting, AND I'm not expected to be part of the scene. We would need to discuss this before finalizing your booking as it's too lengthy to cover in a few sentences. I want to make sure we are all on the same page. I'm comfortable with pretty much anything, but I have my boundaries, and I want you to be aware of them before booking with me to prevent any sticky situations in the future.

Dallas Surprise Proposal Photographer

"You're going to realize it one day - that happiness was never about your job, degree, or relationship. Happiness was never about following in the footsteps of those who came before you; it was never about being like the others. One day, you're going to see it - that happiness was always about the discovery, the hope, the listening to your heart, and following wherever it chose to go. Happiness was always about being kinder to yourself and embracing the person you were becoming. One day, you will understand that happiness was always about learning how to live with yourself and that happiness was never in other people's hands. It was always about you. It is always about you."
