and make that tail wag!
Since I was a little kid, I always had a special place in my heart for animals. My biggest dream was to fill my home with a bunch of furkids. Of course, reality doesn't work that way. Back then I was a child and I had no authority to do such decisions, nowadays it's damn adulting with my unpredictable work and travel schedule. I would absolutely LOVE to rescue a doggo - but again, my schedule, my lifestyle... However, Nyx has been an amazing companion to me since 2009, and I must admit, she handles herself quite well! She sometimes complains when I end up leaving Dallas for a wedding for a few days, but we make peace with a can of her favorite food.
To get over my never-ending doggo-fever, I volunteer with the DFW Humane Society in Irving whenever I can. As someone who has a more flexible schedule I want to be a bridge between the amazing humans around me who wish to be more involved, but just simply doesn't have the time to. Whether it's finding a floof to adopt or come all the extra blankets and towels you put aside from your spring cleaning to take to the shelter on your behalf... I am here. Occasionally I do donation drives, and try to organize events - so feel free to contact me anytime, ask any question and let's get those floofs a second chance!
Here are some of the doggos I have worked with, who are in urgent need of either a foster or forever home.

What other ways can you help?
If you are not able to foster/adopt, I totally understand! I'm on the same boat due to my lifestyle/schedule - but there are other ways you can help!
If you are in or near Irving, you can volunteer at the shelter in person and help them care for the animals. If you are not close to the campus, you can also check out your local city shelter as right now all animal shelters I have spoken with is over capacity and they need all the volunteers/new hires they can get.
Please check in with your local shelter for more information on how you can help!
Every little bit helps <3 Come see me and my friends, and we'll give you the best smooches ever!
Let's connect!
The easiest and (most reliable) way to contact me is through my contact form. As I'm always on the go, I'm not always able to answer my phone. Besides, I get a poop ton of spam calls.
I wouldn't want you to get all mixed up in those! :)
