This winter I spent some time with my friends in Turkiye. In between life happening – I found out that my good friend Peren has found “the one” and that they were getting married this May. I wanted to give them a pre-wedding gift since I wasn’t going to be there myself – with all the weddings and other work I have here in DFW. The last weekend of January, as we waited patiently, it finally snowed in Ankara and Camlidere (a town 2 hours to Ankara) – where we were planning on spending a night of laughter and raki.
Because we all love to sleep, we took off from the city a little later than we planned – which caused a little delay on our arrival to Camlidere. As soon as we got there I prepped my gear to take off to our mini-session location, which I have never seen before, but Peren’s dad was the local guide who knew every single hidden gem.
As soon as we got to the location – which was on a mountain road – we started our session. But soon after, Peren’s dad told us we had to leave soon before it turned cold and made it harder to go back home.
I also tried something new – and nope, those are not string lights or photoshop overlays 🙂
Until next time, may the love be with you!
