Lindsay and Bob’s Indian-American Fusion Wedding

When I first met Bob and Lindsay, I was immediately thrilled at the opportunity to shoot such a colorful, culture-filled wedding. This was going to be my very first Sikh wedding, but my mind was immediately spinning at the chance to celebrate and document their love.
Their Sikh wedding ceremony in Richardson, TX was a culmination of wedding festivities that began on Thursday night. Though I didn’t understand the prayers or some of the customs, I found everybody from family and friends to the priests to be ultra inviting. I felt like I was part of their Gurdwara from the moment I walked through the door.
What surprised me most during the day was Bob. I already knew Bob and Lindsay were music people — they met in choir at Coppell High School. But when Bob started dancing at the Baraat, I saw a new, vibrant side to his quiet personality! Bob and Lindsay even came together for a flash mob, where they cut their first dance to dance for their family and friends, Bollywood style.
All in all, I am so grateful for the opportunity to participate in such a beautiful show of love. I wish them much enjoyment in their married life! <3
